時代劇のロケでも有名ですが、皇室ゆかりの寺院だけあって本当に格調の高い豪華絢爛な美しさでうっとりしてしまいます。襖絵もお寺のしつらえと調和した素晴らしい風情があって、美術館で見るのとは全然違いますね。
